Once called DC Interactive, Camp Solar is a new place based learning model designed to give our youth the exposure and agency that every child needs to be a life-long learner in the 21st century and beyond. A vibrant community of local entrepreneurs, artists, and mentoring leaders are so excited to get in touch with our youth and join them on brain boosting field trips, innovative projects, and supportive homework help & tutoring experiences.

Our Spring Break Camp starts out with drop off/ arrival 7:30 - 8 am, where your child will be welcomed by our Camp Solar staff at our home base, The Bowen Clubhouse directly across from Bowie Town Center. With easy access to metro & orange lines this is the ideal location to begin our exploration each day.
